School Information
Class Times
8:55 - 11:00: Class
11:00 - 12:00: Lunch
12:00 - 1:30: Class
1:30 - 2:00: Recess
2:00 - 3:10: Class
Supervision
Teachers are rostered for supervision of the playground between the hours of 8.30am to 3.30pm
Newsletter
The weekly newsletter will be distributed every second Wednesday to the oldest child in each family. They are also uploaded to Compass as a news item and to the school website.
Reporting Student Progress
Formal reports are issued twice yearly via the Compass portal, at the end of the second and fourth terms. Organised interviews are recommended at the time of the first report and are also available upon request in term four. Parents are always free to make an appointment to see the class teacher regarding the progress of their children.
Sunsmart Policy
St Brendan's Primary School children are required to wear the school broad brimmed hat during terms one and four. The school has a policy of "no hat no play" which requires children without hats to play in the shade to protect them from the sun. Sunscreen is available during this time.
